As we enter into a new century more and more people are suffering from food intolerances, allergies, and imbalances within the body. The majority of sufferers do not even realise what is causing their problem.
A positive sense of well-being with plenty of energy is what should be regarded as normal health. An intolerance/ allergy or imbalance can reduce your quality of life by causing many health problems.
Conventional medical wisdom holds that healthy people who
eat well enough to avoid specific nutritional deficiencies do not need
to supplement their diets. They only have to ensure that their diets meet
the Recommended Daily Intake. The evidence is overwhelming that most
people in the U.K fail to come close to meeting those requirements.
Most of us do not eat enough fruit and vegetables, and certainly not as much as five daily servings - the quantity recommended for obtaining the minimum level of nutrients believed necessary to prevent illness. We often make food choices that are nutritionally poor.
Poor nutrition and the methods used in modern farming also mean that some people have low mineral/ vitamin status, which, if left unchecked can lead to the body being 'out of balance' before progressing to disease.
